Accounts and billing

What can I use account balance for?

Account balance is used for orders, renewals, and other billable actions supported by the console. You can review spending trends and order history from the billing page.

Where can I check my recent charges?

Open the billing page in the member console. It shows account balance, total spending, and historical billing records.

My renewal is paid but the expiry time did not update yet

Allow a short period for the order state to refresh. If the resource page still shows the old expiry after the order is completed, check notifications first and then contact support with the order number.

Virtual machines

Which VM creation mode should I choose?

• Use Custom when you need full control of specification and duration.
• Use Plan when a predefined package already matches the workload.
• Use Pay-as-you-go when the workload is temporary or hard to forecast.

Why can I not reach my VM from the internet?

Usually one of these is true:

• The VM only has a NAT network.
• The public-facing Bridge network was not attached.
• The attached security group does not allow the required inbound port.

I forgot the login password or username

Use Reset Credentials from the instance page. After access is restored, remove obsolete accounts if you created a replacement user.

What happens when I reinstall the operating system?

Reinstalling resets the instance to the selected image. Treat it as a destructive action and back up data first.

Networks and security groups

When should I use Bridge instead of NAT?

Use Bridge when the service must accept external traffic. Use NAT for private traffic between your own services.

Do I need a security group for every VM?

You need a security group whenever the VM or interface is exposed through a Bridge network. Internal NAT-only traffic typically does not need a public-facing rule set.

Can I attach another network after the VM is created?

Yes. Use the Interface section on the VM details page to add another network interface.

Kubernetes

What do I need before creating a cluster?

At minimum, prepare a region, a cluster network, and a worker-node sizing plan. If the cluster needs external traffic, also prepare a gateway network and security group.

What can I manage from the cluster console?

You can review overview metrics, nodes, workloads, services, policies, storage resources, and access-control resources directly in the RESVRL console.

Does every cluster need a gateway?

No. Gateway is optional and should be enabled only when workloads need external exposure.
